Have you ever been S.T.U.C (spiritually torn, uniquely created)? Battling in your spirit with what God has called you to do versus what you think or feel you should be doing. This occurs when God has called you to do something and you put it off. Even better you disregard the calling because you don’t think the timing is right or that you are qualified to do what God has called you to do. So you find your self STUC, spiritually torn because your spirit wants one thing and your flesh desires to do another. Which in turn causes you to be out of alignment with the will of God, who has created you uniquely with a divine purpose to do something greater than what you are currently doing. Take a look at Exodus, Moses found himself battling with the same thing.
In Exodus chapter 3&4 God appears to Moses in a burning bush and gives him the assignment to bring his people the Israelites out of Egypt. ( 3:10) This was a huge assignment and like anyone, Moses began to question it. Asking God, “who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt? “(3:12) And God said, “I will be with you.” (4:1 ) Moses answered, ” What if they do not believe me or listen to me and say, The Lord did not appear to you? Then the Lord said to him, ” what is that in you hand? ” ” A staff, ” he replied. The Lord said, ” Throw it on the ground.” Moses threw it on the ground and it became a snake, and he ran from it. Then the Lord said to him, ” Reach out your hand and take it by the tail.” So Moses reached out and took hold of the snake and it turned back into the staff in his hand. (4:3-5)
The Lord continued to reassure Moses that he would be with him through everything he has called him to do. However, Moses continued to question the Lord and stated in verse (4:10) ” Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.” the Lord said to him. ” who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now go and I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”
How many times have you found your self in this situation? Knowing the Lord has told you to do something but you question every possibility. Thinking it would be devastating to fail or even worse for others not to believe in you. Please understand just like God provided for Moses he will provide for you also. Sometimes we hold on to the natural comforts of life that do not produce fruit and cause us to feel empty, such as the job you have been at for years with no progression in sight or the relationships that you have been feeding which in turn has caused you to starve. When all God wants you to do is say yes to him. He says, ” Test me in this and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out a blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. ”
Do not miss out on your tomorrow because you are STUC on today. God has ordered your steps and he has greatness in store for you, trust and believe him. So my friends choose this day to get out of your own way and let God guide you through.

Prayer
Heavenly Father thank you for calling me and creating me for a purpose and on purpose. I choose this day to honor, love and obey you, setting aside my own selfish ambitions and choosing to walk in alignment with your way and your will. Father I believe, please help my unbelief, sometimes I find myself fearful but I understand that you are faithful. So I shake off the spirit of fear, doubt, and confusion knowing that you do no give me a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind. I choose to walk by faith and not by sight declaring those things that are not as they are and validating myself, my calling and purpose in your word. In your heavenly name I pray Amen.
