The Ultimate Life Coach

” For I know the plans I have for you, “declares the Lord, ” plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. ( Jeremiah 29:11 NIV) Everything we need in this life can be found in Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. (Hebrews 12:2)

In todays society, Life Coaches are a big deal. A life coach by definition is a person who counsels and encourages clients on matters having to do with careers or personal challenges. I think this concept is great! I also think the people that have chosen this profession are amazing as well. However, I undoubtedly know that if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you have the Ultimate Life Coach on your side. He is a healer, a redeemer, sustainer, and a provider, the one who paid the ultimate sacrifice for your sins and mine. You see my friends, the Life Coaches you seek are temporary, they stay as long as you pay. But our God remains, he is constant and the same yesterday, today and forever.

Today if you find your self struggling with who you are I challenge you to look at whose you are because your Heavenly Father loves you. He called and qualified you for such a time as this. He blotted out your transgressions and has forgiven everyone of your sins. Rest and know that our God gives you a peace that surpasses all understanding, and the momentary gratification you get from this world is temporary but the life you get from God is everlasting. Meditate on his word and see the Miraculous happen in your life.

Prayer : Heavenly Father I thank you for being my ultimate life coach, the author and finisher of our faith. I thank you for ordering my steps and calling me for such a time as this, for giving me peace and instilling in me a spirit of power, love and a sound mind. I take captive every thought that is contrary to your word and press forward in faith knowing that all things are possible through you and that you will never leave nor forsake me. I stand today believing that I am everything you have called me to be and despite what my circumstances may look like you have given me the victory.

  2. Sometimes when we have so many ‘options’ to help us ‘fix’ our lives, when can forget what should always be the first option. Our heavenly Father knows us completely. When we seek to know him intimately, he reveals more of His plan for us. Thank you for this word! It truly encouraged me.
